About MiC
Mentors in Co-op (MiC) is an experience-enhancing mentorship program brought to you by the Co-op Students’ Association in conjunction with the Co-op Management department at the University of Toronto Scarborough.  With the launch of MiC (pronounced “mike”), we intend to enhance the overall academic, career, and social experience for all Co-op Management students. The idea is to facilitate a knowledge-sharing community whereby students will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with their school and program of study in the process of sharing information and maintaining relationships with other students at various stages and years of their university life. MiC promotes active involvement in university life and creates opportunities for new and senior students to expand their networks and build important transferable skills for use in day-to-day, academic, and career situations. MiC program implementation is planned for September 2007.

Our Goals

  • To assist all co-op students in building critical skills in their academic lives; which will transfer and benefit these individuals in future careers
  • To ensure entrants into the Co-op Management program are well informed about their area of study while creating and fostering long-lasting bonds between students and staff

At this time, all MiC mentors have been registered.  If you have any questions, please contact us at mic@utsc.utoronto.ca
