The Sexual Health Peer Educators at UTSC are a team of student volunteers from the Health & Wellness Centre. We act as an on-campus resource for students, and strive to promote healthy lifestyle choices and a healthy community.
Our peer educators have all be trained and serve as a student resource while maintaining confidentiality. We are also able to refer students to other staff at the health & wellness centre.
Our team presents fun and interactive workshops for students, with topics ranging from birth control, to STI’s, to healthy relationships. We also are available for displays, and always look forward to collaborating with other groups on campus! We also run campus-wide campaigns, which have covered hot topics including HPV: Help Prevent the Virus.
